Instead of managing separate accounts for each provider, you pick any model from the OpenRouter catalog and the plugin routes requests accordingly. The settings view shows your remaining account balance and per-model pricing so you can choose the right model for your budget.

Configuration
API Key - Create a free account at openrouter.ai and generate an API key in the dashboard. Add credits to your account to use paid models.
LLM Model - Use the search field to find a model by name or provider. The picker shows pricing per 1M tokens for each model.
Setup
Create an account at openrouter.ai and add credits
Generate an API key in the OpenRouter dashboard
Open TypeWhisper Settings > Plugins
Find the OpenRouter plugin and click Configure
Enter your OpenRouter API key
Search for and select a model
Choose OpenRouter as your LLM provider in a custom prompt
