Delete your TypeWhisper account

Who this is for

This page is for TypeWhisper Premium accounts on Android, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You have such an account if you signed in with Google or Apple to use Premium. TypeWhisper works without an account; if you never signed in, there is nothing to delete.

Delete in the app

This is the fastest way.

• Android: Settings → Premium → Delete account.
• iPhone, iPad, and Mac: in the app's Premium settings.

Delete on the web

Without the app, open app.typewhisper.com/account/delete, sign in with the Google or Apple account you use for TypeWhisper, and delete the account there. If something does not work, write to hello@typewhisper.com.

What is deleted

When the account is deleted, the TypeWhisper Premium service removes:

• Your TypeWhisper account
• The devices registered to it
• Your Premium entitlements, including the hashed references to your App Store, Google Play, and Polar purchases
• The records of your Google Play purchases
• Your sign-in sessions

If a Polar license from typewhisper.com is linked to the account, its activations for the account are deactivated.

What is not deleted

• Data on your devices, such as history, dictionary, profiles, and recordings, stays until you delete it in the app. Synced files in iCloud or a folder you chose stay until you delete them there.
• Google Play, Apple, and Polar keep their own purchase records. Your purchases stay with your Google or Apple account, so you can restore them later by signing in again.
• Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play or the App Store, or billing continues.
