Setup

  1. 1Open Settings > Integrations. Install OpenAI Compatible from Discover if it is not already listed under Installed, then enable it.
  2. 2Open the add-on settings and review the options available in this edition.
  3. 3Manage profiles, server URL, optional API key, transcription/LLM model, thinking mode, and LLM timeout
  4. 4Select OpenAI Compatible as the transcription engine in general settings, a profile, or a workflow override.
  5. 5Select OpenAI Compatible as the LLM provider for a workflow prompt or translation.

Whether content stays local depends on the configured server, script, or destination. Remote services receive the data passed to them.
